Pre Employment/Post Offer Screening
Physiotherapy Associates' Pre Employment/Post Offer Screening is designed to screen job applicants for a particular job classification. Prospective applicants complete a work simulation based upon “essential job functions.”
- The American Association of Occupational Health Nurses conducted a case study with a large industrial employer that included 220 new hires and the results showed a 1% injury rate with the group tested and a 23% injury rate with the untested group.
- Post-offer tests are designed and administered to determine a prospective employees ability to safely perform job requirements. The test is performed prior to employment, is ADA and EEOC compliant and consists of a job essential evaluation including a full medical history, cardiovascular testing and a lifting evaluation.
- How do you know if an employee can perform his job duties if you do not test them first? Let us help you eliminate candidates who may be at a high risk for a potential injury increasing your workers compensation costs.
- Fit for Duty evaluations can help you identify whether individuals in physically demanding positions continue to be fit for duty. A fit for duty evaluation may also be beneficial for employees returning to work following a disability or injury. Did you know the ADA allows for periodic testing of employees in physically demanding jobs?
